Eco Materials & Our Products
Eco-living has quickly become a focus for many of us across the world, with many businesses and individuals making pledges to reduce environmental impact. At Piggotts, we are aware of the importance of taking care of the environment. We believe that small gestures added are an important step toward sustainability.
We are proud that our eco range is becoming more and more popular. In an effort to make our environmentally conscious products affordable, we allocated an eco support budget to support our clients. The scheme works by Piggotts donating a portion of the ordered products to our client. We are proud to announce that we utilised all of our eco support budgets for projects last year. that’s why we are known as one of the most eco-friendly printing companies in the UK
This year, we have increased our eco support budget and have already supported many clients through the scheme. Our most recent supply has been to Marine Biology and Oceanography Scientist, Emma Keen of Keen on the Water. Her aim is to teach mariners about marine ecosystems and habitats; inform people about threats facing the ocean today, and share tips on how to be more environmentally conscious, linking sailors with local conservation initiatives.
We offer a number of eco alternative materials for our flags, banners, signs and other products that pollute less and are more sustainable.
By being sustainable with your printing, you contribute to a cleaner environment and a social society, because our Eco Polyglans and Eco Décor recycled textiles are created through melting down disposed consumer goods such as PET bottles into chips; these chips are then spun as yarn to produce the recycled textiles which we then use in the manufacturing process of your product.
Our PVC Free Mesh looks and feels very much like PVC but is actually polyester + eco yarn. We also offer DecoTex which is great for banners and is made from 100% recycled polyester. And we aim to ensure that our business and processes are as environmentally-friendly as possible.
As part of our eco range, we only use water-based, eco-friendly Swiss or German Inks, we do not use any acidic inks making the whole process a 100% eco-friendly production, Rhotex Ink certificates can be supplied. for this reason, we offer products with ecological materials, recycled and recyclable, that pollute less and are more sustainable.
